Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists by entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and assisting customers at the register. You will help ensure accurate dispensing and maintain inventory while delivering friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires English fluency, flexibility to work evenings/weekends, and familiarity with pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions, counting and pouring medications, and verify accuracy.
• Provide courteous, friendly service at the registers and assistance to customers.
• Maintain inventory and keep shelving clean and merchandised.
