Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription counting and measuring.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification or state certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and obtaining patient and drug information.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceuticals and check for interactions.
• Maintain clean, well merchandised counters and shelves; assist with inventory and pricing.
• Handle calls and pharmacy-related communications and support workflow.
• Support Pharmacy Department on inventory management and loss prevention.
