Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the register and assists customers with products and services.
• Assists pharmacists in dispensing and maintaining patient drug information under supervision.
• Processes prescriptions, checks accuracy, and verifies potential interactions with the pharmacist.
• Maintains clean, organized counters and shelves, and supports inventory and pricing activities.
• Performs other clerical duties and helps with pharmacy operations as directed by management.
