Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math and computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy tasks.
• Engages customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services.
• Recommends items and trade-up or companion products.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean, merchandised, and stock rotated.
• Performs inventory management and pricing as directed.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist and follows policies.
• Assists with pharmacy workflow and clerical duties.
• Complies with company policies and procedures; maintains respectful coworker relations.
• Provides image/photo area services and web-pickup support as needed.
