Job summary

Under direct supervision, you help the pharmacist, process prescriptions, handle cashier duties, and maintain clean, organized shelves. Fluency in English and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
• Assists pharmacists in dispensing and checks for potential drug interactions under supervision.
• Provides customer service in various areas including photo and OTC products.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised and maintains inventory records.
• Handles pharmacy clerical duties and processes manual/third party claims as needed.
