Job summary

Walgreens in Cumming, GA is hiring for a Customer Experience Associate supporting pharmacy operations and front-end checkout. You will assist pharmacists under supervision, operate pharmacy systems, and deliver courteous service to customers.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing prescriptions, handling cash register tasks, and maintaining store cleanliness and compliance with policy. Prior retail experience and PTCB certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Recommends items for sale and assists with product placement and merchandising.
• Provides customer service in the photo area and handles related tasks.
• Follows company policies and procedures and maintains a respectful relationship with coworkers.
