Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused associate in Maryland to deliver exceptional service at the register and in-store, while assisting pharmacists under supervision. You will engage customers, promote products, and ensure compliance with policies. Fluency in English and flexibility for evenings/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions.
• Prefer good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Operate cash register, handle transactions, and assist with returns and exchanges.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision, enter patient and drug information, and help fill prescriptions.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves; manage inventory and pricing as directed.
• Provide pharmacy-related support including error reporting and adherence to policy.
• Assist with photo services, web pickup, and maintenance of store conditions.
