Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate transactions and prescriptions.
• Prefer good computer skills and inventory control knowledge.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under direct supervision in processing prescriptions.
• Uses pharmacy and store systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Recommends items and assists customers in locating products.
• Maintains clean, organized counters and shelves and handles inventory.
• Supports pharmacy team with medication labeling, counting, and checking for interactions.
• Handles returns, rain checks, and exchanges as needed.
