Job summary

Siouxland Community Health Center is seeking a Pharmacy Courier/ Cashier to support prescriptions delivery and customer payments in Sioux City. Responsibilities include verifying patient information, collecting payments, and serving as a courier between Sioux City and South Sioux City locations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer and data entry skills, and a valid driver's license. Excellent customer service and cash handling experience are preferred.

General Functions

• Distribute prescriptions to patients by delivery or curbside.
• Verify patient name, birth date, and address.
• Serve as courier between Sioux City and South Sioux City location.
• Collect patient payments
• Reconcile payments and cash drawer to daily deposits at end of day
• Review account statements with patient and answer general billing questions
• Utilizing first-hand knowledge of assigned tasks and responsibilities, demonstrate initiative in offering proactive suggestions for improvements in departmental workflow and processes
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Education, Training, and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Cashiering Experience
