Qualifications

• Must have ability and knowledge to skillfully utilize various computer programs such as Excel, WordPerfect, SCS, AMS, Centricity/Epic, & McKesson automated cabinetry.
• Must be knowledgeable and adept in computer ordering systems for supplies and medications.
• Must have favorable aptitude toward work and ability to work independently.
• Must have ability to prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Sterile Products/Chemotherapy regimen preparation and scheduling for home/specialty pharmacy and walk-in patients. Coordinate shipping with outside vendors.
• Coordinate IV admixture and preparation of supplies for distribution to home and walk-in patients.
• Maintain inventory, track infusion devices and equipment on-site and in the home; monitor turnover and reduce excess inventory.
• Assist with end-of-month information to IS for purchasing, procure medications and supplies, and verify shipping invoices and patient charges.
• Engage in education of pharmacy students, new staff and nurses as needed.
• Coordinate, schedule, and prepare chemotherapy agents and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
