Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum of 3 years in pharmacy operations, compliance, or related field.
• Thorough understanding of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations (HIPAA, Controlled Substances Act, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute).
• Experience with accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC, PCAB).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and organized with multi-project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accreditation standards; analyze impact of new regulations and communicate updates.
• Develop, implement, and revise policies and procedures for regulatory compliance.
• Design and deliver training programs on compliance topics and maintain training records.
• Conduct audits and monitoring; identify gaps and develop CAPAs; coordinate third-party audits.
• Manage incident response: report, investigate, and document findings; implement corrective actions.
• Oversee licensing, credentialing, and accreditation for facilities and individuals; ensure renewals.
• Review contracts with third-party payers and vendors for compliance.
• Serve as liaison to leadership to support strategic compliance direction.
• Communicate compliance information to staff and collaborate with other departments.
• Prepare and submit regular compliance reports and track training completion.
• Stay current on regulatory topics and participate in professional development.
• Support Vanscoy Rare Pharmacy’s culture and special projects; potential for officer roles as needed.
