• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and making interactions positive.
• Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly service, including taking refill orders.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock received product and supplies and keep pharmacy stocked.
• Review prescriptions not yet picked up as directed by the department manager.
• Order product and supplies and review invoices on receipt.
• Log invoices and complete cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare paperwork and packages for delivery orders and mail-outs at the department manager's request.
• Coordinate nursing home medicines as necessary.
• Administer vaccines as allowed by law, with required certification where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting pharmacy environment.
• Protect customer medical information and work as a team.
