The position involves greeting customers, processing refills, preparing prescriptions, and coordinating delivery orders, with vaccination duties where allowed by law. Employment is contingent on standard pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.
• Six months up to one year of similar or related experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service with a smile and positive interaction.
• Answer telephone promptly and assist with refill orders.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock and stock supplies, and keep pharmacy supplies well stocked.
• Review prescriptions not picked up and follow up as directed by management.
• Process invoices and cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare paperwork for delivery orders and mail-outs as needed.
• Coordinate nursing home medicines as necessary.
• Administer vaccines where permitted by law and with certification.
• Maintain cleanliness and confidentiality of patient information.
• Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
