Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Pharmacy Clerk to support operations at Lamoille Health Pharmacy in Stowe, VT.

This entry-level role involves preparing prescriptions, greeting customers, handling orders, and entering data into the computer while maintaining a clean, stocked, and friendly pharmacy.

Retail or mail-order pharmacy experience is a plus; computer skills are mandatory; strong customer service and clear communication are essential; vaccines are required.

Qualifications

• Retail or mail order pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Computer experience mandatory.
• Proven track record of exemplary customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care

Responsibilities

• Preparing and packaging prescriptions for processing; stocking and assembling shipping supplies.
• Computer proficiency is required
• Must be responsible, organized, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to interpret computer software and visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
• Provide friendly and cooperative customer service
• Greet customers and take prescription orders
• Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
• Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
• Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
• Answer the phone
• Input customer information into the computer system
