Hy-Vee, Fort Madison, IA, is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support daily pharmacy operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist customers, stock supplies, handle cash transactions, and help keep the pharmacy area clean and organized.

As a detail-oriented team player, you will ensure accurate prescription processing and confidentiality of patient information while collaborating with pharmacists and other store staff.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months up to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist with refill requests.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock received products and keep pharmacy supplies well stocked.
• Review prescriptions not picked up as requested by management.
• Process invoices and cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare paperwork for delivery orders and mail-outs as requested.
• Coordinate nursing home medications when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients' private medical information.
• Support team and assist in other store areas as needed.
