Job summary

Hy-Vee Cedar Rapids (Pharmacy) is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Clerk to support daily pharmacy operations with friendly, customer-focused service. You’ll assist customers, process refills, stock supplies, and help keep the pharmacy clean and organized.

Night and weekend shifts may be required. You'll handle cash transactions, review prescriptions for accuracy, prepare paperwork for deliveries, and coordinate with the pharmacy team while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vaccination certification is required if administering vaccines, per state law.
• Ability to handle cash and balance tills accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers.
• Process refill orders and assist customers with questions.
• Stock and organize pharmacy supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and prepare paperwork for deliveries.
• Coordinate nursing home medicines as needed and assist with vaccine administration where certified.
