Job summary

King Soopers in Colorado is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Clerk to provide exceptional customer service, assist pharmacists, and process reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing steps. You will follow HIPAA rules, maintain clean work areas, and help with inventory and cashier functions in a fast-paced store environment.

The role supports health and wellness initiatives and requires 18+ with a high school diploma or GED; prior comparable experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Comply with all local, state and federal regulations and report illegal activity.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and safety guidelines and notify management of hazards.

• Manage medication, device, supplement and supply ordering per guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized work stations and waiting areas.
• Assist pharmacists and perform reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing steps.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies regarding patient information.
• Support health and wellness initiatives and handle cash register operations.
• Provide customer service and answer inquiries; assist minors and individuals with special needs.
