Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support day-to-day operations in the Pharmacy department. You will assist customers, stock supplies, handle cash transactions, and help keep the pharmacy running smoothly with care and professionalism.

This hourly role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and up to one year of related experience; vaccination certification is required if administering vaccines where applicable.

Qualifications

• Over six months up to one year of similar or related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the pharmacy counter.
• Stock and order supplies; assist with transactions.
• Gather patient information to prepare prescriptions.
• Administer vaccines as allowed by law, with certification.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist with other store areas as needed.
