Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior Walgreens experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register and handles cash transactions.
• Assists customers with products and shows them to the correct aisle.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; maintains store appearance.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty per company policy.
• Operates store systems and equipment; supports loss prevention procedures.
• Provides friendly, efficient checkout service and builds relationships with customers.
• Completes special assignments as directed.
