Job summary

Walgreens Co. in Florida is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a distinctive, friendly checkout experience. You will greet customers, assist with products, and handle cash register transactions with accuracy and courtesy.

You will operate store systems, stock shelves, maintain displays, resolve issues with the pharmacy team, and support training. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required; prior retail experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of retail experience.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register customers and operate cash register with accuracy.
• Provide courteous, friendly checkout and assist customers with products.
• Advise on items and upsell or suggest companions.
• Assist with OTC products and guide customers to aisles when possible.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize merchandise on counters and shelves.
• Keep displays updated, and participate in resets and promotions.
• Operate pharmacy systems to check prescription status with pharmacist.
• Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty per policy.
• Support asset protection and minimize loss according to company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state/local laws on regulated products.
• Assist with exterior/interior maintenance and overall store appearance.
• Complete assignments and tasks as directed by management.
