Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and provide a friendly, efficient checkout experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Recommends items for sale and assists customers with product location and trade-up recommendations.
• Operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, checks in and prices merchandise, and maintains records.
• Implements asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
