Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package prescriptions for distribution to local pharmacies or patients.
• Organize printed prescription information by patient to protect HIPAA information.
• Verify printed information matches the prepared prescription before bagging.
• Sort, pack, and process prescription totes for return to local stores.
• Assist with packaging and shipping labels for mail order and specialty medications.
• Support inventory management and cycle counts with FIFO stock rotation.
• Utilize central fill dispensing system and automation to meet daily goals.
• Maintain knowledge of packaging, shipping, and inventory systems.
• Provide operational support to pharmacists and maintain a safe work environment.
• Report suspected prescription errors to the pharmacist immediately.
• Comply with all policies related to central fill and pharmacy operations.
• Understand and comply with federal and state laws.
