Weis Markets in Milton, PA is seeking a detail-oriented pharmacy support technician to assist with central fill, packaging, shipping, and inventory. You will work under pharmacists to ensure accurate prescription handling and maintain HIPAA-compliant processes.

Qualificações

• Education: HS diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license for business travel purposes.
• Willingness to learn central fill and packaging processes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and package fulfilled prescription medications for final distribution.
• Organize printed prescription information by patient during packaging to safeguard HIPAA information.
• Ensure printed prescription information matches prepared bottles prior to bagging.
• Sort, pack, and process prescription totes for shipping back to local stores.
• Assist with packaging and shipping label generation for mail order and specialty medications.
• Assist with inventory management including cycle counts and FIFO stock rotation.
• Support central fill dispensing system and automation to maintain workflow and meet daily goals.
• Maintain knowledge of systems and equipment used for packaging, shipping, and inventory.
• Provide operational support to pharmacists on duty and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Report any suspected prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Adhere to all policies related to central fill and pharmacy operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with laws and regulations.
