Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused team member to deliver a distinctive checkout experience, greet customers, and assist with product selection and services. You will operate the register, process transactions, and support OTC product guidance while maintaining clean, well-merchandised shelves.

Role requirements include fluency in English and a willingness to work evenings/ weekends; prior retail experience and Walgreens familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, handles payments, and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Recommends items for sale and assists customers to locate products; may escort to aisles and support OTC products.
• Operates pharmacy systems to check prescription status and reports any errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; checks in and prices merchandise as directed.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize loss and ensures compliance with state/local laws on regulated products.
• Constructs and maintains displays, completes store resets, and supports exterior and interior maintenance.
• Attends training as requested by management and performs special assignments as needed.
