Qualifications

Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license is required.
Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience is essential.

Responsibilities

Gather medications and supplies according to compounding records.
Label compounded sterile products.
Assist in cleaning prep areas and sterile product complexes.
Sanitize medications and supplies for cleanroom entry.
Restock pharmacy and cleanroom supplies.
Organize medication orders for production and packaging.
Label and package medication orders with needed educational materials.
Prepare and scan compounding records; enter prescriptions.
Verify member/patient data and act as liaison with patients, pharmacists and doctors.
Communicate with healthcare providers via phone and email.
