Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks a Registered Pharmacy Technician - PCC to ensure timely patient access to therapies. You will verify insurance, perform billing, assist with prior authorizations, and coordinate with providers, payors, and pharmacies.

Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will document activities in the EHR, support delivery and scheduling, and help resolve coverage issues while maintaining CHOP’s standards of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process prescriptions and maintain accurate records in EHR/pharmacy system.
• Support refill coordination: contact patients, schedule deliveries, escalate as needed.
• Document actions and communications in EHR to ensure continuity of care and compliance.
• Prepare and fill prescriptions with correct products and NDCs, label packages, and ensure accurate dispensing.
