Job summary

986 Pharmacy in San Gabriel, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Associate to be the first point of contact for patients, entering and accessing the pharmacy system, processing payments, adjudicating third‑party claims, and assisting staff with processing fills.

The Associate may also deliver prescriptions to patients’ homes or facilities and support Provider and Patient Relations under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription information into computer systems and verify completeness.
• Process prescription refills and handle third-party claims adjudication.
• Maintain patient profiles and update medication lists.
• Assist with transferring medications using aseptic techniques.
• Price and file prescriptions and maintain records.
• Clean and maintain work areas and ensure temperature logs compliance.
• Prepack bulk medicines and label bottles.
• Prepare prescriptions for home delivery and confirm delivery receipts.
