The ideal candidate has 1+ years of billing experience, strong computer skills, and a pharmacist technician background or license per state requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position in Statesboro, GA.

• 1+ years of related experience.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy information system experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies.

Responsibilities

• Research and establish patient eligibility coverage with insurance providers and reverify benefits as needed.
• Enter patient/insurance information accurately into billing system.
• Maintain and audit patient files for third-party audits and compliance.
• Respond to billing inquiries via phone or electronic communications.
• Run Medicare plan comparisons during open enrollment and evaluate options to save residents money.
• Process daily census, admissions, discharges, and room changes for facilities.
