Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Utah is hiring a Billing Specialist to support processing customer bills and insurance claims in a fast-paced pharmacy setting in West Valley City, UT. You will assist with daily and month-end billing, enter patient information, and provide excellent service to patients, caregivers, providers and insurers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, pharmacy technician certification per state requirements, and strong computer skills with experience in pharmacy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification/registration per state requirements; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate billing.

Responsibilities

• Process patient billing and insurance claims with accuracy and timeliness.
• Enter and maintain patient information in the billing system and respond to inquiries from patients and providers.
• Support daily and month-end billing procedures and audit-ready documentation.
