Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to verify insurance coverage and process prescription claims, supporting members, providers, and insurers in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The role requires a state-licensed pharmacy technician with national certification and 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. Hybrid work is available, with focus on accurate billing and audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license (Ohio).
• National certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, specialty, PBM, or managed care).
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow-up communications.
• Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication.
• Coordinate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services to support accurate billing.
• Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews.
• Document all correspondence, escalations, and resolutions in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements.

Job description

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurance carriers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a state-licensed and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a collaborative, fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Locations

North Canton, OH | Hybrid, but primarily remote (1-2 days a month if needed)

Pay Rate

$22.50/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and overtime as business needs require

What You’ll Do:

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow‑up communications
• Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication
• Coordinate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services to support accurate billing
