ManpowerGroup seeks a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing in a fast‑paced healthcare setting.

The role is based in North Canton, OH with a hybrid arrangement (primarily remote, 1–2 days a month in person). Expect $22.50/hour, with potential for growth and training within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license (Ohio).
• National certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, PBM, etc.).
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Claims adjudication and secondary billing.
• Medicaid and discount card processing.
• PBM or managed care environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow‑ups.
• Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication.
• Coordinate with PBM services to support accurate billing.
• Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews.
• Document all correspondence, escalations and resolutions per payer and regulatory requirements.

Job description

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurance carriers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a state-licensed and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a collaborative, fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Locations

North Canton, OH | Hybrid, but primarily remote (1-2 days a month if needed)

Pay Rate

$22.50/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and overtime as business needs require

What You’ll Do:

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow‑up communications
• Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication
• Coordinate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services to support accurate billing
• Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews
