The role requires state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician (Ohio) and national certification, with 1–2 years of pharmacy experience.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with paid overtime as needed, and a path from temporary to permanent based on performance.

Qualifications

• Active State Pharmacy Technician license (Ohio)
• National certification (PTCB or NHA)
• 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, PBM, or managed care)
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
• Claims adjudication and secondary billing
• Medicaid and discount card processing
• PBM or managed care environment

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow‑up communications.
• Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication.
• Coordinate with PBM services to support accurate billing.
• Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews.
• Document all correspondence, escalations, and resolutions in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurance carriers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a state-licensed and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a collaborative, fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Locations

North Canton, OH | Hybrid, but primarily remote (1-2 days a month if needed)

Pay Rate

$22.50/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and overtime as business needs require

What You’ll Do:
