ManpowerGroup is seeking a Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurers by verifying coverage and processing claims. This role requires a state-licensed and nationally certified technician who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.

Based in North Canton, OH with a hybrid schedule (primarily remote, 1-2 days a month on-site), the position offers a $22.50/hour pay rate, regular weekday hours, and opportunities to grow within pharmacy

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license.
• National certification (PTCB or NHA) required or in progress.

Job description

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurance carriers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a state-licensed and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a collaborative, fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Locations

North Canton, OH | Hybrid, but primarily remote (1-2 days a month if needed)

Pay Rate

$22.50/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and overtime as business needs require

What You’ll Do:

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow‑up communications
• Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication
• Coordinate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services to support accurate billing
• Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews
• Document all correspondence, escalations, and resolutions in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license (Ohio )
• National certification (PTCB or NHA)
• 1-2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, specialty, PBM, or managed care)
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
• Claims adjudication and secondary billing
• Medicaid and discount card processing
• PBM or managed care environment
