ManpowerGroup is recruiting a detail-oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician in North Canton, OH. The role supports members, providers, and carriers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing.

State-licensed and nationally certified pharmacy technicians are encouraged to apply. The position offers a hybrid schedule (remote most days) with core hours, competitive pay, and structured training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license (Ohio) required.
• National certification (PTCB or NHA) required.
• 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, PBM, or managed care) preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience with claims adjudication and secondary billing is a plus.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and discount card processing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits via outbound calls and follow-up.
• Resolve prescription and claims issues for timely adjudication.
• Coordinate with PBM services to support accurate billing.
• Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews.
• Document all communications and resolutions per payer and regulatory requirements.

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurance carriers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a state-licensed and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a collaborative, fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Locations

North Canton, OH | Hybrid, but primarily remote (1-2 days a month if needed)

Pay Rate

$22.50/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and overtime as business needs require

What You’ll Do:

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow‑up communications
• Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication
• Coordinate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services to support accurate billing
• Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews
• Document all correspondence, escalations, and resolutions in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, specialty, PBM, or managed care)
