Segal in New York is seeking an Associate Consultant in Pharmacy Benefits Financial Analytics to apply financial analytics, data insight, and advisory skills for clients. You will work under senior staff to deliver actuarial-like analysis and PBM program optimization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of medical or pharmacy benefits financial administration and/or audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL; Python experience a plus.
• Undergraduate degree in business, actuarial science, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Prior experience in Medical or Pharmacy Claims Auditing, Benefits Contracting, and/or Claims Processing preferred.
• Demonstrated project management and client servicing/relationship skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical review and analysis of PBM data, contracts, RFPs, and program effectiveness.
• Analyze RFP responses from PBMs, including pricing information and contract analyses.
• Analyze rebates and contracting pricing strategies.
• May lead or assist with managing RFPs within scope, profitability and productivity targets.
• Develop and maintain pharmacy benefits financial tools and dashboards.
• Support business growth and cross-selling efforts; contribute to resources and quality improvements.
• Gather market intelligence to develop new service approaches.
