Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking an Automated Dispensing Technician to manage inventory, restock daily, and visit clients to troubleshoot automated systems. You will coordinate with pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing and labeling of medications.

The role requires pharmacy automation experience, state-registered technician credentials, and willingness to travel as needed. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy automation (Pyxis, Omnicell) preferred.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• High School diploma or equivalent; previous pharmacy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automated dispensing system inventory and restock daily.
• Visit customers to troubleshoot problems and audit medications.
• Handle automation related issues.
• Prepare finished prescriptions with proper labeling including cautionary and auxiliary labels.
• Assist in packaging, shipping, and order processing.
• Follow HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned; job duties may vary.
