Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal utilization of DOSIS machines through restocking and workload distribution.
• Coordinate ongoing canister stocking to minimize interruptions in the filling process.
• Manage filling discrepancies and return medications to canisters with pharmacist approval.
• Work with the pre-pack department to manage DOSIS returns and add cards into the pre-pack management system.
• Monitor workflows and production queues to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Review drug throughput reports to evaluate canister utilization and reassign canisters as needed.
• Troubleshoot reported canister and tower issues and track helpdesk tickets.
• Complete daily tasks including stock checks and cleaning workstations.
• Maintain knowledge of department processes and respond promptly to shift issues.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and customer service skills and support a collaborative environment.
• Communicate issues and improvement opportunities to pharmacy management.
