Job summary

Adventist Health's St. Helena Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Automation System Administrator to oversee maintenance of automated dispensing equipment across the hospital and to manage the automated dispensing system.

The role supports the hospital's medication safety program, regulatory compliance, and process improvement. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Master’s preferred), a pharmacy technician license, and PTC/CPhT/CPHT-NHA certifications; nursing/pharmacy informatics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician license required.
• PTC or CPhT or CPHT-NHA certification required.
• Education and experience in informatics, public health, computer science, statistics, or similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance of automated equipment used within the pharmacy and hospital to support pharmacy services.
• Serves as the automated dispensing system administrator.
• Supports hospital-wide controlled substance diversion program under supervision of medication safety officer.
• Provides guidance on process improvements and assists in regulatory compliance.
