Job summary

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with automation, robotics, label printers, and PLC controls, and involves rotating on-call support with up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, prints, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with robotics systems and industrial label printers.
• Familiarity with Omron/Adept and GE Fanuc robots.
• Experience with any work-order based preventive maintenance management system.
• Basic networking and Excel skills.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated pharmacy dispensing equipment including PLC, robotic, and networked systems.
• Complete work orders and document tasks using CMMS software.
• Maintain parts inventories and coordinate with suppliers for components.
• Oversee vendor support of facility air compressors and generators.
• Assist training of staff on automation equipment and safety assessments.
