Job summary

McKesson is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our automated Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy facility in Orlando. You’ll maintain and troubleshoot pharmacy automation, robotics, conveyors, electrical and mechanical equipment, PLC-controlled systems, and computer networks.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and control circuits, reading schematics, and assisting with PLC ladder logic programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of industrial maintenance, equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, automation, electromechanical, or related technical experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operational upkeep of automated pharmacy and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including 480/460V, 220V, 120V AC and 24V DC circuits, motor starters, power distribution, and control circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and use voltage and current measurements to troubleshoot equipment.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting, including ladder logic and uploading/downloading PLC programs.
• Troubleshoot control devices including photo eyes, solenoid valves, limit switches, indicator lights, and safety switches.
• Perform mechanical maintenance, including aligning bearings, shafts, and drives; adjusting belts and chains; replacing worn components; and maintaining pneumatic systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance, including equipment inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and component replacement.
• Troubleshoot Windows‑based computers, Ethernet connections, cabling, I/O devices, and equipment‑related computer systems.
• Support light electrical, construction, and facility improvement projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for equipment and facility repairs.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, quality, and operational efficiency.
