Job summary

Gallagher Benefit Services is seeking a Pharmacy Auditor to join the Pharmacy Audit Team in Virginia. The role involves leading audits of prescription drug claims, validating coverage and payments against contracts, and ensuring timely, accurate outcomes for clients and PBMs.

The candidate will collaborate with PBMs and clients, manage multiple audits, and prepare comprehensive audit reports with clear recommendations. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality services.
• Strong background in pharmacy benefit management (PBM) processes and systems.
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead prescription drug claim audits from implementation through closure.
• Audit prescription drug claim payments to ensure contractual and plan compliance.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations to PBMs and clients.
• Travel to PBMs as needed (approximately 10-20%).
