Job summary

Kroger is hiring a Pharmacy Clerk to deliver friendly customer service, assist pharmacists, and support daily operations in-store. You will handle billing, cashier duties, and patient interactions while maintaining HIPAA and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, be at least 18, and bring confidentiality, accuracy, and strong teamwork to a fast-paced environment. Training provided, with growth opportunities within Kroger.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient intervention by health and wellness services where allowable by law.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgement.
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer areas.
• Count, measure and prepare specified product following company standards.
• Complete billing procedures to ensure value for customer and company.
• Answer phone, triage inquiries, and direct to appropriate team members.
• Operate cash register and process payments per policy.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Support health and wellness initiatives and arrange/stock inventory as needed.
