Job summary

Moses Lake Community Health Center is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to greet patients and support the pharmacy team with courteous, empathetic service. This role handles essential administrative tasks, cashier duties, and record-keeping to ensure accurate patient information and smooth visits.

The successful candidate will have Washington Pharmacy Assistant licensure, be bilingual (Spanish/English), travel between sites as needed, and possess a valid driver's license with auto insurance.

Qualifications

  • Must have obtained Pharmacy Assistant licensure with the State of Washington.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required.
  • Travel between work sites as needed.
  • Must provide documentation of a valid driver's license and auto insurance as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent service, information and support to patients and colleagues on the phone and in person.
  • Manages prescription transactions according to established procedures.
  • Consistently maintains patient data base.
  • Perform rebilling process.
  • Efficiently inputs refills for patients.
  • Accurately maintains register and cash box cash amounts.

Brief Description

The Pharmacy Assistant is the first representative of pharmacy to our patients and plays a key role in ensuring our patients have a welcoming and productive visit. In this role, the assistant must provide the highest level of customer service while actively working to help the patient in a warm, helpful, and empathetic manner. The Pharmacy Assistant is also accountable for important administrative, cashiering, and clerical functions to support the pharmacy team, optimize patient visit quality, and keep patient records accurate and current.
