Job summary

Impact Futures and The Childcare Company are seeking a Pharmacy Development Coach to deliver and facilitate teaching, training, coaching and mentoring for pharmacy apprentices. You will manage a caseload, assess work, provide feedback, and support learners with additional needs using Cognassist, Aptem and Functional Skills.

The role is hybrid, combining home-based work with occasional learner visits, travel within your area, and a strong focus on safeguarding, inclusion and professional

Qualifications

• Hold or be willing to complete Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent
• Hold or be willing to complete Teaching Qualification, PTLLS or equivalent
• Recognised Level 3 or above in Pharmacy
• Maths & English GCSE graded C and above or Functional Skills level 2

Responsibilities

• Lead a caseload of learners and support them to achieve their apprenticeship or qualification
• Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback including SPAG and update the Aptem portfolio system
• Identify and support learners with additional learning needs using Cognassist to support this
• Support learners who require Functional Skills maths and/or English at Level 1 or 2
• Ensure safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion are promoted and monitored
