A leading community oncology provider is seeking a Pharmacy / Admixture Technician for its Dallas location. Texas Oncology is looking for a Pharmacy / Admixture Technician to join our team! This position will support the Dallas Sammons location.
This position will be either a level 1, 2, or Sr based on candidate experience.

What does the Pharmacy / Admixture Tech do?
Under the supervision of a physician or registered pharmacist, the Admixture Tech performs technical, non-judgmental tasks such as medication preparation, distribution, record keeping, and inventory control in a clinic admixture room or licensed pharmacy. Tasks are verified by a registered nurse or pharmacist. The role supports adherence to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. State laws may regulate that only licensed individuals perform compounding or mixing responsibilities.

Competencies:
Physical Demands:
Full range of motion, manual dexterity, ability to read measurements, sitting/standing for long periods, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, and normal vision and hearing.
Work Environment:
Office setting with exposure to patients and potential contact with hazardous substances, including chemotherapeutic agents.
