Texas Oncology is seeking a Pharmacy / Admixture Technician to join our team at the Dallas Sammons location. The position level (1, 2, or Sr) will be based on the candidate's experience.

Role and Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Tech, under supervision, performs medication preparation, distribution, record keeping, and inventory control. Tasks are verified by a registered nurse or pharmacist and adhere to compliance and safety standards. Some tasks may require licensure depending on state laws.
Key duties include:
Qualifications
Level 1: High School diploma or equivalent, entry to three years pharmacy experience.
Level 2: 3-5 years pharmacy experience with IV skills, IV certification preferred, and certification from the State Pharmacy Board recommended.
Senior Level: 5-7 years pharmacy experience, oncology background preferred, completion of an accredited program recommended.
Competencies include: technical expertise, adaptability, sound judgment, work and quality commitment.
Physical Demands: Full body motion, manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, corrected vision and hearing.
Work Environment: Office setting with exposure to potentially hazardous substances, with accommodations available for disabilities.
