Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Access Representative III (PAR) handles financial management and coordination for home infusion referrals.
• Communicates with prescribers to obtain information and assembles documentation to submit insurance claims, including prior authorization.
• Links referral sources, patients, pharmacy, insurance and staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Performs prescription audits and ensures timely completion of required patient documentation.
• Maintains knowledge of insurance coverage and patient assistance programs (PAPs) and leverages them to help patients.
