Job summary

Urology San Antonio is hiring a licensed Texas Pharmacist to join a fast-paced clinical team in the Medical Center Area. You will review orders, dispense medications, counsel patients, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a PharmD/BS Pharm and TX Pharmacy license with strong clinical knowledge. This is a full-time position with Monday–Friday 8am–5pm and a $2,500 sign-on bonus, plus opportunities to mentor staff.

Qualifications

  • Dispense and review medications in accordance with prescriptions.
  • Apply pharmacology knowledge to optimize patient therapy.
  • Maintain compliance with FDA, DEA, EPA, and TX Board regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and interpreting physician medication orders
  • Identifying therapeutic incompatibilities and medication concerns
  • Preparing, dispensing, packaging, and labeling prescriptions accurately
  • Monitoring drug therapies and recommending clinical interventions
  • Providing medication counseling to patients and healthcare providers
  • Supervising and verifying pharmacy technician workflow and data entry
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Managing controlled substance accountability and inventory
  • Training and mentoring staff, interns, and residents
  • Upholding infection control standards and a safe pharmacy environment
  • Staying current with continuing education and regulatory changes

What You'll Do
