Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Pharmacist-In-Charge to lead clinical and operational pharmacy services within a hospital setting. You will ensure optimal drug therapy, participate in program development, and supervise staff to maintain safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy, completion of a residency or two years of pharmacist experience, and an active SC Pharmacist License, plus BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required and completion of a residency or 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• SC Pharmacist License and current BLS certification are required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical pharmacy leadership within the specialty area.
• Collaborate with the health care team to optimize drug therapy and cost effectiveness.
• Develop and coordinate pharmacy programs and ensure compliance with safety and accreditation standards.
• Serve as Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) and oversee pharmacy operations when needed.
