Wellstar Health System seeks a Distribution Center Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Supervisor in managing all aspects of medication-related supply chain at the Consolidated Services Center. Responsibilities include purchasing, inventory, vendor relations, GPOs, standardization, and DSCSA practices to ensure supply integrity and cost efficiency.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Doctorate in Pharmacy and licensure as a pharmacist (RPH) preferred.
• Knowledge of IDN pharmacy operations and DSCSA best practices.
• Experience in supply chain purchasing, budgeting and vendor management.

• Oversee pharmaceutical purchasing and inventory at the Consolidated Services Center.
• Analyze contracting opportunities, cost savings and forecasting with Pharmacy Supervisor.
• Manage relationships with wholesalers, vendors, and GPOs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support drug shortage mitigation and therapeutic substitution in collaboration with clinical staff.
